Bush at a White House news conference:
"I know there's a lot of, here in Washington people are trying to — stimulus package two — and all that stuff. Why don't we let stimulus package one, which seemed like a good idea at the time, have a chance to kick in?"
Asked about American consumers having to pay $4 for a gallon of gas once the summer driving season arrives, Bush said:
"That's interesting. I hadn't heard that. ... I know it's high now."

I THOUGHT HE LOOKED ALMOST EXACTLY LIKE PSYCHOPATH TED BUNDY.
PARTICULARLY AROUND THE CONSCIENCE!!
it's $4 now, and this isn't even the high season
He is The Decider. That doesn't mean he has a brain, or anything ;-)
It's like 3.80 or so here, but close enuf.

this reminds me of that video of that beauty contest chick who totally flubbed up the question on education.
beauty queen dumby: I feel for her. I mean, there is such pressure to act smart at that age. I mean, when i heard the question, I couldn't have answered it either. it's better to be honest and say "really? that low of a percentage" or whatever the statistic was... and then provide some empathetic response and be honest about not having all the answers but open to finding them. i mean, why do they pressure high school kids to have the answers when our own darn country leaders don't?
she sounded like me in interviews...
he also mentioned that we're not in a recession.
