VB put it so perfectly..."cross is like abusive relationship love"
i'm already telling myself it'll be better next time, it won't hurt so much, i'll be stronger, i won't let it get to me... I CAN TAKE IT!
i'm trying not to notice all the bruises...

yes...and what about the make-up sex
there's always the mystery bruises that you can't figure out where they came from
but there is one on my right low back (right over the sacroiliac area for you anatomic types) that i get from my pedal when i shoulder my bike that never goes away
XB -- try softer pedals.....
Erika, what are you beating yourself up about? You're pretty incredible out there. Have fun with it and you'll keep improving all the time.
There are so many different elements to cross -- that's what keeps me coming back week after week. I can always improve something -- my runs, my climbs, my flat bumpy power, my mounts, my dismounts, so many different things. It's obsessive.
And don't forget to smile....at least when it's over.
cross is the most retarded sport out there.
it really is, if you think about it a bit.
So I just stop thinking.
i think i dreamed about cross last night...ridiculous
we all need help.
and make up sex.
everytime i try to explain what cx is to a non-bike racer, i just end up stopping mid-description, totally flabbergasted at how stupid what i am saying sounds
whew.
i thought i was the only one who thought cross was silly-dumb.
I'm goin with VB on this one--no more thinkin...
i'm ready for a lil' story now.
please.
one might be brewing...
stop making rice krispie treats and give Olaf a story please...me too
